My mother was always quick to point out when I would open my mouth and insert my foot. She always said, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Needless to say I grew up a quiet child.
I’m learning there is a point when you must take a stand. Someone once said, sometimes anger is the necessary energy needed to set boundaries. JMD
