It’s the little things in life that distract me. I got a speeding ticket and citation for failure to change lanes properly in May. I was lost and late to a comedy show. I finally completed my driver’s safety course and turned the certificate in yesterday, only to learn the court had not received my driving record. That’s the first thing I sent for in June. I called DPS and they confirmed they sent my record to the court on June 25th. The great DPS said they’d send it again. Problem is it was due last month and everything is due next week. These small problems eat me alive. The comedy show that night back in May was funny and at least I had a new timely joke. It’s not funny anymore! : ) JMD

One of my favorite books is by Dale Carnegie. I was given, How To Win Friends And Influence People, as a teen. The book is old with a copyright of 1936, it sold for $3.50. This is one of those rare books you can read once a year, hold close and study. JMD
