Opportunity

“In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity.”
- Albert Einstein
I must document a recent adventure, where I noticed God at every corner. First, I found two pennies at two different locations, always a reminder I must trust in God. A short time later, I found a nickel. I heard in my mind my grandmother say in spanish, “look, I found a nickel!”
I stopped at a coffee shop and met a wonderful person full of exciting ideas.
At an antique bookstore I bought a book published in 1980. The owner said he believed in destiny and the book was meant for me. He had just received it and for the book to go so quickly was unusual.
When I passed by a small struggling church with people holding signs that read, ‘FREE Bar-B-Que’, I pulled over to investigate. I figured it was just a fundraiser and it was lunch time. I realized the church was reaching out to people less fortunate. There was no catch just a warm meal and the clear message of hope. I was offered a plate, but declined. I wished them well. Imagine if we all did something similar? When was the last time I just stopped everything to give?
