Plan

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.”
- Larry Elder
I still have a small piece of paper where I wrote down a few goals way back in March of 1991. I wanted to lose 30 pounds, I wanted a new house for my family and a voice. Today, I see how vague the wish for a voice was, but it’s one goal that has come to pass in more ways than one.
I also had a special request for my sister and even today she is on my list as she awaits the arrival of her first son . In 1991, I hurt my knee playing football and so I wanted healing in my knee.
I’ve always known how important and powerful it is to write down a prayer list that includes short-term and long-term goals. Ironically, my list hasn’t changed much, but that doesn’t mean my goals haven’t been accomplished. This life is a time of constant improvement. JMD
