Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops, perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anythig. James 1:2
During my first news internship in Lubbock in the mid 90s, I asked the star anchorman for his best advice. He said perseverance. Just keep doing it as long as you can. I’m entering my 15th year in TV News and I still hear that short conversation so often. It doesn’t get easier. This is a tough business for tough people.
